Weaver Release Notes
Weaver Release Notes
Section titled “Weaver Release Notes”This section is for curated milestone notes when Weaver crosses a meaningful release boundary such as 0.4, 0.5, or 1.0.
Patch releases such as 0.4.1 or 0.4.7 don’t get their own docs pages here. Those stay in GitHub Releases.
What To Put Here
Section titled “What To Put Here”- Operator-facing summaries of what changed in a milestone.
- Breaking changes, migrations, or new defaults that deserve more context.
- Pointers to the deeper docs pages that explain new queue, monitoring, or settings behavior.
What To Leave Out
Section titled “What To Leave Out”- Patch-by-patch changelogs.
- Routine fix-only releases with no milestone-level story.
- Asset download details that already live in the GitHub release entry.
Update Pattern
Section titled “Update Pattern”When a new milestone ships, add a page under this section named for that milestone and summarize the operator impact first.
A good milestone note usually answers four questions:
- What changed?
- Why does it matter?
- Do you need to migrate or reconfigure anything?
- Which docs page should you read next?
Until a milestone page is added here, use GitHub Releases for patch-level detail.
