Form Login And Account Switching

Form login lets people sign in to Scryer with their own account and makes it easy to sign out and switch users on the same instance.

Create User Accounts

Before switching accounts, create the people who need access:

1. Sign in with an administrator account.
2. Open System → Users.
3. Create the user and give them only the permissions and library access they need.
4. Make sure each account has a password set before relying on form login.

You need the manageUsers permission to create and manage accounts.

Enable Form Login

1. Select Admin in the top-right corner, then open Profile.
2. Choose Set Password and set a password for the administrator account.
3. Open System → Security.
4. Turn on Enable Form Login.
5. Enter the administrator password to confirm the security change.

Form login is now enabled.

Sign Out And Switch Accounts

Once form login is on, a Log out button appears in the Admin menu at the top right of the screen.

Use Log out to return to the sign-in screen, then log in with another account. You can repeat this whenever you need to switch between administrator and user accounts.
