Install from Community Apps

Install Scryer from Unraid Community Apps. The official template keeps the container settings current for Unraid.

On your Unraid server, open Apps, search for Scryer, review the template, and select Install.

Configure Storage

Before installing, choose persistent host paths for the template’s appdata and any libraries Scryer should manage:

• Appdata: Keep /config on persistent storage such as /mnt/user/appdata/scryer. It contains Scryer’s database, settings, metadata, and encryption key.
• Libraries: Map Movies, Series, and Anime only when Scryer will manage those paths.
• Networking: Keep the template’s WebUI port unless it conflicts with another app, then choose an available host port.

After the container starts, open the WebUI from Unraid and complete Scryer’s setup. Confirm the library paths in Scryer before adding titles.
