If Scryer isn’t finding movie files you know exist on disk, check that the root path here matches exactly what Scryer can see — in Docker, container paths often differ from the host paths where files actually live.

If you’re adding a new storage location for movies, add the root path here before adding any titles that should live there. Scryer can only scan paths it knows about.

  • Add, edit, or remove movie library roots.
  • Set default root behavior for new movie titles.
  • Review scan-related settings for the movie facet.
  • Correct a path after a host or container mount changes.
  • Run or schedule a library scan after moving files into a managed root.
  • Split movie libraries when storage layout or access policy should differ by root.
  • Library — owns roots, permissions, scans, and import destinations inside a facet
  • Library Scan — reconciles files on disk with Scryer’s catalog after roots are configured
  • Import — how Scryer moves completed items from the staging path into a managed root
  • Library Layout — path and mount configuration that roots configured here must align with
  • Movie Import — where manual import decisions for this facet are resolved
