General
General settings are where you set global behavior that isn’t specific to one facet — defaults that apply across Movies, Series, and Anime.

Working In General Settings
Section titled “Working In General Settings”If you’re setting up Scryer for the first time, configure the global defaults here before moving to any facet-specific settings pages.
If multiple facets are behaving the same unexpected way, check here before editing each facet individually — a shared global default is often the cause.
Here you review global application defaults and configure behavior shared by multiple facets. Adjust system-wide options before changing facet-specific settings, and confirm a setting is actually global before editing the Movies, Series, or Anime facet pages. Set these defaults during initial setup, and review them again after upgrading.
