Security

Security settings are where you control authentication and security-related behavior for your Scryer instance.

  • To access: Settings → Security
  • To view: Requires manageUsers app permission; also accepts managePermissions

If you’re completing initial installation, review authentication settings here before creating additional user accounts — security posture should be set before accounts are added.

If account access is behaving unexpectedly after an upgrade, re-check these settings before adjusting individual user permissions.

Here you review authentication-related settings and manage the security-sensitive options the UI exposes. Security changes rarely stand alone — coordinate them with user and permission updates, and pair each change with a quick user-access check to confirm the intended accounts can still reach the right screens.

Review these settings after initial installation, before creating additional users, and again after any upgrade that changes authentication behavior.

  • Profile — personal settings for the account you’re currently signed in with
  • Permissions And Navigation — how access grants shape sidebar visibility and page access after authentication
