Quality

Use Movie Quality settings to pick the default quality profile for new movie titles and tune how the Movies facet applies Scryer’s quality profile model.

  • To access: Movies → Settings → Quality
  • To view: Requires manageCatalogSettings app permission
  • Also visible to: Also accept manageSystemSettings

If new movie titles are being evaluated against the wrong quality policy, check the default profile assigned here and confirm it matches your intent before adding more titles.

If you just created a new quality profile, assign it here before adding new movie titles — titles inherit the default at creation time.

  • Choose the default quality profile for new movie titles.
  • Review quality cutoff behavior for movie titles.
  • Confirm how imported or newly added movies should inherit the facet default.
  • Align movie quality expectations with the global Quality Profiles page.
  • Create or edit a global quality profile, then assign it as the movie default.
  • Revisit the Movie Library or Wanted pages after a profile change to confirm the result matches your policy.
  • Quality Profile — reusable policy that defines acceptable quality levels and cutoff for movie titles
  • Wanted Item — a title Scryer has flagged as missing or below the configured cutoff
  • Cutoff Unmet — a title that has a file but does not meet the configured quality cutoff
  • Quality Profiles — where global quality profiles are created and edited
  • Cutoff Unmet — the Wanted view filtered to movie titles below quality cutoff
  • Movie Import — where movie import rows are reviewed after a quality change
