Section titled “Working In Renaming Settings”If imported series episodes are named wrong or season folders aren’t structured as expected, review the templates here before re-running import work.
If your media server can’t find episodes, confirm the folder structure here matches what your media server expects before looking at the media server’s configuration.
- Edit series folder, season folder, episode file, and multi-episode templates.
- Preview template output when the UI supports previews.
- Review how templates group episodes into season structure before making them the default.
- Configure behavior for naming collisions.
- Confirm templates before resolving a large manual import queue.
- Use season-aware naming for media servers that expect season folders.
- Confirm downstream tools are happy with the folder and episode path shape before broad rename work.
