Series

The Series section is where you work with episodic television-style titles — it’s the facet for shows.

Use Series to review series titles, inspect season and episode state, resolve series import work, and tune series-only defaults. It’s the home for episodic library work, where title state and per-episode state both matter.

Open Series in the left sidebar. The visible child pages are:

  • Library for the series overview.
  • Import when manual import work exists and your account can resolve it.
  • Settings with Library, General, Quality, Renaming, and Routing pages.

You’ll usually start in Library, move to Import only when a completed item can’t be placed automatically, and reach Settings when the correction should apply to future series too.

You can use the catalog pages in this section with the view library permission on one or more libraries. The Import child is tied to resolveImports, and the facet settings pages appear in the sidebar when you have manageCatalogSettings.

  • Browse and filter series titles.
  • Search for a series title to add.
  • Open title, season, and episode detail surfaces.
  • Review monitored state across titles, seasons, and episodes together.
  • Change monitoring state for series, seasons, or episodes where supported.

  • Add a series with the correct root, quality profile, and monitoring state.
  • Review missing or cutoff-unmet episodes from a title overview.
  • Resolve a blocked import by matching the correct series, season, and episode.
  • Revisit Calendar or Wanted after changing episodic policy to confirm the expected titles moved state.
