Settings

Settings is where you handle the administrative side of Scryer — configuration that isn’t tied to a single title.

  • To access: Settings → child page in the left sidebar
  • To view: All signed-in users can access Profile; additional pages require manageUsers, managePermissions, manageSystemSettings, or manageCatalogSettings app permissions
  • Profile: Your personal account settings.
  • Security: Authentication and security controls for the instance.
  • Users: Operator accounts and library access grants.
  • General: Application-level defaults and global behavior.
  • Quality Profiles: Shared quality grade and cutoff definitions used across all facets.
  • Delay Profiles: Timing policies that control when Scryer acts on matched releases.
  • Download Clients: Configured provider instances for download client integrations.
  • Indexers: Configured provider instances for indexer integrations.
  • Rules: Reusable routing and selection policy assigned to facets.
  • Plugins: Installed plugins that provide provider types and integration behavior.
  • Notifications: Configured provider instances for notification channels.
  • Post-processing: Actions Scryer runs after import or library changes.
  • Subtitles: Configured provider instances for subtitle providers.
  • Recycle Bin: Delete safety behavior for files Scryer manages.

A good order of operations: configure global profiles before setting facet defaults, and install the relevant plugin before adding its provider instances. Start with shared policy here, then move into Movies, Series, or Anime once the building blocks are ready.

  • Profile — your personal account settings
  • Quality Profiles — shared quality grade and cutoff definitions used across all facets
  • Plugins — where plugins are installed; required before provider instances can be created
  • Permissions And Navigation — how access grants shape which settings screens an operator can reach
